A Tradition of Irish Dance in the Heart of Bucks County
For over 30 years, Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance has brought the joy, artistry, and cultural heritage of Irish dance to families across Doylestown, PA and the greater Bucks County region.
Our Story
Rooted in Tradition Since 1994
Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance was established in 1994 with a single, enduring belief: that Irish dance is an art form meant to be shared. From our very first class, we have been committed to teaching the steps, rhythms, and spirit of Irish dance in a way that honors its rich cultural heritage while making it accessible and joyful for every student.
Over three decades, we have grown into one of Bucks County's most beloved dance schools — not because of trophies on a shelf, but because of the performances we have given, the communities we have touched, and the dancers we have helped find their confidence and their voice through movement.
Our studio at 4095 Ferry Road in Doylestown, PA has been a home for dancers of all ages and backgrounds. Whether a child taking their very first step or an adult discovering Irish dance for the first time, every student who walks through our door is welcomed into a tradition that stretches back generations.
Our Philosophy
Focus on Performance
Many Irish dance schools measure success in medals and rankings. At Fitzpatrick, we measure it differently — in the faces of an audience, in the pride of a community, in the confidence of a dancer who steps onto a stage and owns it. We are proudly performance-focused. Our students dance at St. Patrick's Day celebrations, Irish festivals, community events, retirement communities, and school shows throughout Bucks County and the Philadelphia region. Every performance is an opportunity to share the beauty of Irish culture with the world.
Cultural Heritage
We teach Irish dance as a living tradition — connecting students to the music, history, and spirit of Ireland.
Performance First
Our program is built around the stage, not the scoreboard. Every student has the opportunity to perform.
Inclusive Community
Dancers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome. This is a school for everyone.
Expert Instruction
Our certified instruction ensures every student learns proper technique in a safe, encouraging environment.
